We are judged by our appearances. Everything that we wear, from the way our hair is combed to the brand of shoe, is being watched and judged by people all around us. We say that it doesn't matter how we look, but in reality, we take many precautions so that we look our best.
The way we perceive ourselves is an important factor to the way we feel about ourselves. If we aren't comfortable with what we are wearing, we might feel reluctant to go to the place that we had first planned to go. We judge the way we dress prematurely, thinking that what we think of ourselves is what others think of us. But we have to understand that every person thinks differently. My opinion on the way I am dressed might be different from the one from another person. People should dress and look in a way that they feel comfortable.
Even though we are comfortable with the way we dress, it might make another person uncomfortable. For example, a man dresses up in his best suit and goes to a restaurant, Applebee's for example. That man is going to the restaurant to meet another person. The other person that he is going to meet is dressed in jeans and a shirt. The man dressed in casual clothes might feel uncomfortable around the man in the suit. He might think that the man in the suit is trying to impress him with his fancy appearance. This will cause him to get the impression that he is snobbish person. We judge by the way people look, there is a saying that goes "The clothes make the man" in part that is true, because what we wear and the way we look tells other people about us. Even though the clothes and appearance tell others something about us, we have to wary that the clothes don't send the wrong message, and the people around us might get the wrong impression about us.
Should we worry about the way others see us? In part yes, but most importantly we should worry about the way that others see inside of us. On the outside, we might look like the nicest people in the world, but deep down inside we might be the worst type of people there is. The way we dress should be a reflection of what is inside of us, inside our hearts. We shouldn't compromise the way we dress so that others might get the correct idea about us. Our clothes and our character determine our appearance in front of others.
Yes, it is important that we have a nice appearance, so that people can form a good opinion about us. But that shouldn't be our top priority. We should worry about the outer appearance, but, most importantly, we have to worry about our inner appearance. Our outer appearance will grow old and whither, but our inner appearance will stay the same for the rest of our lives unless we choose to change it. It is our inner character that people are willing to accept, no matter how we look on the outside.

My Opinion:

Acceptance.
I think that acceptance is basically just how you see yourself. Some people might think that looks are evcerything. Yes, it affects. However I would not say everything. Having a pleasant look is important. But what is more important is how you carry yourself. Your behavior, your actions, your speech. These are what your looks cant determin of you. However, your looks can do wonders as well! Having good looks can help to boost your confidence level. Making you confident standing in front of a crowd. Because you are very sure that people will accept your outer appearance, therefore giving you more courage. Looks are also the first impression people have of you. By looking at your appearance, people can more or less guess what kind of person you are. Presenting and making sure you look presentable is the basics one should learn. Dressing up appropriately also allows people to leave a better impression. As for what is the real definition of acceptance, it is up to you to define!
